That photo is beautiful. It carries me way back. What a wonderful message to receive from anyone, but especially your brother. It really touches me.

  2. Robert replied:

Oh sweet. You guys are a riot! hehe! Thanks for the picture. Now I DO remember you had a link up somewhere, just recently I think, to your brother’s website, mostly artwork, etc. I was quite impressed. And I was also thinking: “I don’t recall Matt ever mentioned anything about his brother?!?” Yeah, I’m a dweeb!

    What is that link again?

  3. Matt replied:

You’re both cuties…thanks for posting it. I remember your telling me about a brother, but it never occurred to me he’s younger! You look young to me Matty! 🙂

  4. ing replied:

BOTH cuties! Matty, you better keep me away from your brother.

Speaking of cute, two cute guys came into the bookstore in one day, and they weren’t a couple. It was a world record. One bought three books on current policy in Iraq. The other sold me a bunch of Black Sparrow Press stuff.

  5. sortedlives replied:

Very sweet. It’s great you two are close. Have a great weekend sweetie.

  6. Meredith replied:

You’re both adorable, then and now but can you still hold him upside down?

  7. matty03 replied:

Daniel – Thanks. His email meant a lot to me.

Robert – I can’t seem to get the link to type up the way I want it to — but if you look at my links to the right, just click on to “My Brother’s Site” — it is about his artwork. But, it is most cool!

Matt – LOL! Yes, and I’m looking younger every day! …not! Thanks! Big hug from here!

Ing! Cute boys are always coming in to see you at your book stores! Accept it! Own it!

Sorted Lives! I owe you an email!!! I wish we were closer. But, when we do see each other it doesn’t feel like it has been as long since the last visit as it really is. I’ll send you a note later tonight when I get home!

Lovely Meredith! Awwwww, thanks! No, I’ve no longer got any muscles. I can barely lift myself out of chair. Sad, but if I’m not careful that is what will happen! LOL! No, but he is over 6 feet and a bigger guy than me. So, he could probably dangle me upside down. I would not find that fun, tho. LOL!

  8. Topher replied:

Y’all look alike!!! I think you two should take a picture with him dangling you upside down. It’ll be fun…well for us *grins

  9. matty03 replied:

Kris! That is so cool you say that — normally everyone says I look nothing like my mom or brother. So, that is cool! I will have to ask him if he will hold me upside down next time I see him. LOL!

  10. joe replied:

wow, you guys look like….. sea monkeys!

  11. matty03 replied:

Joe — do you mean the “real” shrimp brine sea monkeys or the happy sea monkeys which I was promised aged 5? I worry that I look like ssssshrimp brine! LOL!

  12. Kevin replied:

I still think you should reenact that original pic.

  13. matty03 replied:

Kevin – LOL! …well, maybe next time I see him! Not sure when that will be. My hope is within the next year!

  14. Alan replied:

your brother has the same hair as the cute guy in The O.C…… very nice!

  15. matty03 replied:

Alan – don’t make fun of me. What is The O.C.????? LOL! I know not of what you speak!
