AUSIE! AUSIE! AUSIE! OY! OY! OY!

Now, not that I am one to go ’round castin’ sturgeons on people and you’re right. Maybe it is none of my bee’s wax and I should stop mindin’ it, but when it comes to this gurl:

…well, I’ve just about lost my patience! I can feel it in my waters! She is no good!

In straight of fact — and this is right from the horse’s ass. Wait. Listen to me. Liiiiiisten to meeeeee: I’ve got ONE word for you: “Spoiled little princess who is above the law!”

Yes. I mean, wrong as rain — you and I both know that if it were us in this situation they’d just plug us up with an IV while the other inmates raped us in the shower!

And, of course, if you’ve never had the pleasure of watching “Kath & Kim” — you won’t understand my post. I’ve heard a rumor that there is a new series in Australia for this year! Why-o-why has this show never made it to US shores!?!?! It is a tragedy!

…I want to see that new documentary, CRAZY LOVE. I hope Ing will join me and B when we see it this weekend. …I wonder if B loves me enough to hire a couple of thugs to toss acid into my eyes causing me to go blind. Ah, yes. Well, that is true — but totally crazy love! I must see this film! …well, it takes all kinds!

BABIES WALKING!

In a small town in Texas a baby named “Matt” was placed in a baby walker and told to have fun while the parents watched the TV.

and, in Canada another baby boy named “B” was playing in the same type of little baby walker! Excepting his parents cushioned his with a blanket. I was plunked down on the rails, but I did have a cowboy hat!

Who knew that 37 some odd years later they would be grown up lovers standing in front of the hotel which was used as the model for Kubrik’s THE SHINING!?!?!? Life’s journey is a most cool thing! They both had fun in Colorado (more on that later!) but were both very happy to get back home to the gay comfort of San Francisco!!!!

NO SMALL PARTS…

Our culture has become so obsessed with big stars and being “The Star” that it seems we have forgotten that very often it is can be supporting cast members of the movies that really make them work. Like, who can forget the little girl who stands up and says the infamous line “I’m into leather” in Woody Allen’s ANNIE HALL!??!? That one little line gets one of the best lines in the movie. And, it isn’t just the absurdity of child saying it. …It is that deadpan delivery.

And, then there is THE EXORCIST — what would it be without a talent like Mercedes McCambridge supplying the voice of the demon inside poor little Linda Blair!?!?! …or her infamous turn as Joan Crawford’s arch-rival (and real love interest!) in JOHNNY GUITAR?!?!? Or, her outstanding work in GIANT or a dozen other great films!??!? …And, what about The Great Thelma Ritter!?!?! She rocked!

There are far too many great actresses to list! …and, male actors as well. I like these two supporting actors for modern cinema:
…but the greatest comic supporting player of all time who should have been a major player! God bless Eunice Burns, Lili Von Shtupp, Trixie Delight and many others! I think we all miss
Madeline Kahn…
